Château de Boucard

Very hilly hike but no particular endurance required. The circuit presents a complete panorama of the landscapes of the territory with very forest paths, hilly fields and a few good domes to climb in peace.

Starting from Jars, join the Bletteron bridge and continue on this country path before descending towards the woods of Beurtres and Nancray, wooded areas and slightly in relief, then followed by the crossing of the wood of Beaujeu just before arriving at La Chapelotte, a small village of 200 inhabitants located at an altitude of 310m.

Continue south, towards Mindons wood and escape to the stage village of La Borne. Then head east for a journey still in the woods to the hamlet of Cod, its mill and its beautiful pond. You will then cross the Beaujeu forest, cross the Château de la Motte in order to finally arrive at the Boucard site. A break is necessary to admire the places of this 14th century building. Return to the village of Le Noyer.
