You will cross the heart of the Pays-Fort with its rurality, its farms, its pastures and some pleasant hills.
Go west, you will pass the Grande Sauldre and after a passage in the forest it is the arrival in Villegenon, a small village of 250 souls with a nice restaurant ... In the middle of the fields but very in relief.
Head towards Vailly-sur-Sauldre where you will cross the ford of the Pétrin mill, very accessible for all levels (100 m in the courtyards of a small river). Arrival in Vailly-sur-Sauldre with a detour to the pyramidal barn.
Go back west towards Sury-ès-Bois then the picturesque hamlet of Chevaise, typical and welcoming ... From there, continue towards a remarkable site "le fait des Marnes" promontory of the Pays-Fort (365m altitude), offers you a sublime panorama.
