Juliette Garnaud, conductor and singing teacher, cultivates a pedagogical environment where the instrument-voice is nurtured and worked on with the utmost precision.
Having accompanied Cantavocalys for 17 years, she now creates and directs the Ensemble vocal Résonances. Her artistic direction features an a cappella repertoire ranging from French Renaissance to contemporary polyphony, fusing classical harmonic structures with innovative, vibrant sonorities.
A lyric baritone who won 1st prize at the Ecole Nationale de Musique and trained with renowned Paris Opera conductor Mme S. Blanc, Stéphane Garnaud's career has been marked by title roles such as Figaro in Rossini's Barber of Seville, Valentin in Gounod's Faust and Don Giovanni in Mozart's opera of the same name. This season, he shares the Résonances program, much to our delight!
