The Aubigny music school opened a lyrical art class last year. This is an opportunity for student singers to work on Georges Bizet's Carmen, a well-known work from the French romantic repertoire.
To put on the opera, the students, having first worked individually with their singing teacher, will meet every 15 days in groups, joined by a few singing teachers from the school. The staging work will be carried out and performed in the school's cloister at the end of June 2022. This opera with southern accents, so sparkling, requires demanding work and an original staging.
