Come and discover a rare and ancient know-how inherited from the master luthiers of the 16th and 17th centuries. During this exchange,
Matéo Crémades, musician with Ensemble Parchemins and one of the few craftsmen to master this ancient skill, will introduce you to parchment and the tools used in the workshop. This will be an opportunity for him to detail the various stages in the manufacture of the parchment rosettes he makes entirely by hand. The rosettes are intended for period instruments such as the baroque guitar, the cistre, the lute, the viola da gamba and the harpsichord.
