A new exhibition opens at the Galerie François 1er: "400 years of the French Navy". In this anniversary year, Aubigny-sur-Nère, patron town of the 34 F flotilla, celebrates the institution that protects our national maritime space, the 2nd largest in the world.
For the occasion, Galerie François 1er welcomes Michèle BATTUT, official painter to the French Navy, whose grandiose landscapes will take you to the four corners of our oceans.
The town is also delighted to collaborate with their godchild flotilla to evoke the history of the Navy and its transformations, through objects, photographs and films from the archives of the 34 F.
