Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Highlands during a Scottish ball hosted by Gilles Robel, a passionate dance master, accompanied by the music of the duo McIver and Saunière, whose energy and virtuosity bring the most beautiful traditional melodies to life
Originating several centuries ago, Scottish dancing was once used by warriors to measure their agility, strength and endurance. Banned in 1746, it was revived in the 19th century by Queen Victoria, who was captivated by Scottish culture.
Today, this tradition has been revived as a festive and convivial occasion where everyone is invited to join in the dance!
Organized by the Aubigny-Haddington twinning committee.
