The universe<\/strong> fascinates you and you wish you could conquer the stars<\/strong> ? Enjoy an astronomic experience<\/strong> and come aboard an interstellar trip<\/strong> at the P\u00f4le des Etoiles<\/strong><\/a> in Nan\u00e7ay<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A world unique astronomic site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Located at the heart of Sologne<\/a><\/strong>, in the forests of Nan\u00e7ay<\/strong>, you will find a unique site in the world<\/strong>. Well hide behind the trees, you will find a huge metallic structure : the radio astronomy station<\/strong><\/a>. It houses the 5th largest radio telescope in the world <\/strong>and the 2nd largest in Europe<\/strong> ! Created at the very beginning of the 50’s, this observation site and instrumental laboratory is part of several international projects such as the study of the galaxies<\/strong>, comets<\/strong>, stars<\/strong>, planets<\/strong>…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this huge radio telescope<\/strong> is added at least 3 650 aerials<\/strong> that are deployed all over the site allowing the surveillance of numerous phenomenons of the celestial vault<\/strong>, the evolution of the universe<\/strong>, the planets<\/strong>, stars<\/strong>, asteroids<\/strong> and other exoplanets<\/strong>…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
